A cleaner layout
In our LMS, we primarily showcase sales training videos on various topics. We do not use certifications very much for various reasons. Our videos are listed individually, but not in a very clean, easy-to-read/search/find the video you are looking for manner.
I've recently located the catalog function, but this only lists videos from a particular certification. I understand that users can use the search function; however, what happens when they do not know what to search and they'd like to see a listing of all available courses?
Currently, the naming convention of the video is to list the date it was published, and then the topic title. For instance "06022015 NetExam Video." The available courses listing does not show them in alphabetical order (or at least numerical order), however, it does appear to at least group like-dates, which helps some.
What seems to be missing is a catalog feature/function that shows ALL available courses to a user in a clean, easy-to-read layout, allowing the user the opportunity to click on courses (description available here as well) and choose whether or not to enroll, which doesn't seem to currently be possible.
We are working on few concepts to address this and that we’ll share them when ready.
